Filming Day 4

We completed our last scene that involved being in school which shows Shaun beating up someone. We had Shaun pinning up another student against the wall and Sam filmed this by using a wide shot of one of our extras walking through the corridor to be surprised by Shaun who attacks him. Our plan was to then film a two shot of Shaun throwing a couple of punches at the other character, however this was difficult to film as trying to punch someone and not making contact was hard to act. I decided that we should have the camera from the perspective of the character who is getting beat up and Shaun should throw a punch directly towards the camera, showing the POV of the character getting beat up. We asked Shaun to do slow punches towards the camera, really emphasising the movement, so that in editing we can speed it up. We have now completed all the filming that includes being in school and have just got to do a little more filming.
