Filming Day 5

We have now completed all our filming for our film trailer after completing the filming of our final scenes. Today we filmed a couple more shots that involved Shaun played by Tom Chapman. After school we made our way to Sams house where we decided we would film a shot of Shaun hitting Sam over the head with a glass bottle to show his violent side yet again. We decided that Sam would be at the front door and Shaun would grab a bottle close by and hit him over the head. Chris filmed the first shot which was a low angle shot from behind Shaun, which shows the bottle in shot. We then see Shaun reach for the bottle and has it by his side ready to hit Sam with it.

I then filmed the next shot, this time an over the shoulder shot of Sam looking towards Shaun. In this shot we see Shaun hitting Sam over the head with the bottle and the over the shoulder shot allows the audience to see it from Sams perspective. After this shot we changed our location to a local graveyard. We used Chris' great grandmothers grave. At the graveyard we filmed three shots, some of which I thought were our best shots. The first shot filmed by Sam was a wide shot of Shaun walking towards the grave, coming to pay his respect to his dead mother, which shos a softer side to his character. We got Shaun to stop in front of the grave and to look at it. Sam then took a low angle shot looking up at Shaun to show his sadness of losing his mum. Then our final shot filmed by Sam was of Shaun putting a rose down on her grave then walking away and back to his normal self. As Shaun walks away he puts up his hood and goes straight back into the character we know.

All our filming is now complete and we are ready to upload all our footage on to the Mac computers to begin editing.
This is me filming the over the shoulder shot when Shaun hits our character over the head with a bottle.
