We tried to film the scenes involving Shaun (Tom Chapman) in chronological order. The first shot was filmed by Sam Warren in which we filmed Shaun waking and sitting up on his bed with his head in his hands. We filmed this with the lights off and blinds closed to create a dark, low key lighting. The shot shows the feelings of Shaun as the camera highlights Shaun's expressions. Furthermore, Sam also filmed another shot within the bedroom of Shaun opening the blinds, which tries to signify new hope as he opens the blinds to a new day.
This image shows Sam filming the first couple of shots in the bedroom.
Moreover, we then moved on to our next shot which involved Shaun lining up some cocaine and snorting it. Obviously we didn't use cocaine but used some flour to make it look very similar. The shot is of Shaun sitting down with the table in front of him, with the curtains closed to create low key lighting. We got close up to Shaun and took the view from a side on position, so that we could capture Shaun preparing the cocaine and then snorting it. This scene took a few retakes but eventually we managed to film a shot that we were happy with.

We finished filming in the house with Chris filming the final shot. The final shot involves Pete Warren, however, we only needed to see his arm, with a beer in his hand. The shot shows Pete Warren sat down with a beer in his hand, with Shaun (Tom Chapman) walking past the door and seeing his dad with the beer, showing his disappointment for his dad as he has started drinking again.

We then moved to our next location where we went to film the scene where Shaun is being followed by someone with a knife behind their back. We used one of our extras to film this scene and Chris was responsible for filming the shot.
To end the day we changed to the location and went to a nearby park to film the fitness and gym scenes. It was easier to film outside instead of going to a busy gym. Sam filmed the shots of Shaun doing the different exercises.
